If you've ever been burned by forgetting to remove a large, one-time tax payment from your sales tax projections, we've got your back. We recently added support for tagging across ZacTax, and you can take advantage of this new flexibility to help your budget process.

When you find an irregular taxpayer, simply add a tag to it. In the video below, we used the phrase "one-time", but tagging is customizable and you can use whatever language is common to your team. For example, if you take advantage of separated contract language to generate construction related sales tax, you might use "separated contracts" as your tag. It's totally up to you!

Now that you've tagged this taxpayer, you can find it via search:

Or you can use the new Taxpayer Tags storyboard, located on the Taxpayer Overview page.
